This is a picture of the pallets of paper. They normally weigh around 500 pounds. They come to Bazzill in these pallets and they are huge. They are 4 1/2 feet by 3 1/2 feet. From here they go to a guy (I think his name was Hector) to be cut.
Here is the cutting machine. It was big and busy. If I remember correctly, Mr. Bazzill (aka Doug Jones) said that they handle on an average day 500,000 pieces of paper.
This is where the cut paper is counted out and put into stacks of 25. Then they go to saran wrapping. Mr. Bazzill described these machines as huge money counting machines - just like Vegas.
These stacks are sealed and awaiting their UPC sticker. Can you believe a lady stands there all day slapping stickers on these packages. Amazingly boring if you ask me!!
Last by not least a side view of Mr. Bazzill - aka Doug Jones!!
After our tour, we were treated to lunch and shopping at warehouse prices - Yipppeee!!

I'm SO jealous; I might barf.
I checked out the pictures on the Creative Escape website, and I found you...with another woman!!! If you've made a new scrapbooking friend whom you like better than me and Lori, I'll die.
Seriously.
OMG...........Yes I did meet lots of new scrapbooking friends. The picture is of a God send named Mary Mitchell. She is from Battle Creek, Michigan. We met in the restroom :). You would totally love her. I even met some great girls that hang at ETC all the time too - Donna, Tammy, Veronica, Michelle.
But you and Lori - u guys are my "S.I.S" Sisters in Scrap. Love you too damn much to be replaced.
Whew! That's a relief! :) I'm so glad you had fun, Jackie! I can't wait to read/hear more about it and see your photos.
You looked so cute in the pic!
Yes you looked very cute in that picture. I had to go and look at the slide show to see what Ann was talking about. We are very teritorial!
Where the H have you been, Jackie! I'm SO, SO, SO excited to see you guys tomorrow! Are we doing Cafe Rio? I have so much I want to work on that I'm getting anxious!
hi Jackie, you can go to memorymakers for the yahoo groups plus scrapperschallenge groups.
you can search to find them under groups and there are tons of swaps.
I have done a tag swap, a paper swap and also as card swap with both of these sites.
Now I got into scrapbooking with the mom's club in 1998 and so therefore we did a Christmas card swap and it was so much fun also.
ok, well take care and off to bed I go.
