A New Beginning!

This morning I woke, to hear the noises of a resting husband! Only then did I realize he didn't need to get up and be at work by 5:00am! So in celebration of the 22 years Rob served on the Phoenix Police Department - I am posting 22 random things about him - you just might not know.

1} Rob is a keeper! We woman call them hoarders! His father would be very proud, as he too could not part with anything. A good example, Rob still has his fraternity and police academy t-shirts.

2} He is truly a gamer! When we first met, his normal evening consisted of staying up until 3:00am playing games with Brad, Adam or Randy!

3} He hates (repeat louder HATES) yard work. I think this stems from him having such a big yard a child.

4} Addicted to Diet Coke. He gets up in the morning - brushes his teeth - and heads straight for the fridge for a drink.

5} Thinks Die Hard and the Matrix are the best movies around!

6} Rob could sit and watch the History channel 24/7. He even has Sean hooked too.

7} Loves to watch cartoons! Yes, any old school or new stuff.

8} Rob hates crowds.

9} He is a home-body! He hates to go anywhere!! This is from sitting in a police car and being everywhere all the time.

10} He misses his sister Peggy - greatly. He will make a reference to her everyday, but has a hard time reaching out and telling her this.

11} Loves soduko puzzles! So does Peggy :)
12} Would give absolutley anything to his friends! His friends do not know how lucky they are to have someone like this.

13} He thinks Whataburger is the best fast food place ever.

14} On the police department served as a patrol officer, training officer, community resource officer, and a school resource officer. He says he never wanted to leave the community because he wanted to serve them.

15} Is certified to teach High School Social Studies and be a school administrator or principal. He has a bachelor's and a master's degree!

16} Went to the University of Arizona for 3 years, but graduated from Arizona State University. He claims the U of A and hates ASU. What the heck? His children love the Sun Devils!
17} Looks just like his dad!!

18} An avid reader - his favorite book "The Jungle Book" by Rudyard Kipling!

19} His favorite TV show is "Cash Cab". So much our children walk around yelling "Red light Challanggggggeeee"!

20} When Sean was born - it was three weeks before I had to change a diaper!!

21} Obsessed with brushing his teeth - he should be as his dad and grandfather were both dentists.

22} Is the most excited man in the world to be able to stay home with his daughter the next year and a half. They are even calling it home school! He has her convinced that she will have homework everyday.I love you Rob!! Congratulations and thank you for making your family proud!!
