?????cHaNgEs?????

Let me say this past month has been a
gigantic roller coaster.

I have been a school librarian for
5 years now. It wasn't what I had
started out wanting to do - I really wanted
to follow in my Dad's footsteps and
be a pharmacist. Well for some strange
reason - I ended up changing my major to education.
Tonight I was told by a panel of 5 that my
job was no longer going to be a certificated position.
Instead - you are being replaced by an aide.
I am now being sent back to the classroom. I know
I will be a GREAT teacher (again). I know
I will help shape the minds of our greatest assets.
But how can I not be angry when I am simply
being replaced! I look toward my friends for
comfort, but I seek the Lord to show me
His way. I know He has plans for me!!

A challenge is an opportunity is disguise. You'll be awesome in the classroom, Jackie, as you've been in the library.

Hey Jackie,

So sorry to hear you are flustered by the change. So are you going to be taking over a class? Are you out of work when this aide takes over? I wish you all the luck with this transition....I know you will be fabulous in anything you tackle
